The beginning scene in the new OP reminds me of Bleach in various ways. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s just that y’know, the style seemed liked the sort Tite Kubo likes to do. Somehow, it just seems that way to me, so yeah.
This is just a plain depiction of the manly aura surrounding the Minami sisters, lead by the formidable former Banchou Haruka. Please, do not expect too much. Also, feel free to flex your muscles and yell in a GAR manner since it’ll probably the only time you get to do so while watching a slice-of-life series.
Successfully attacking the corner and drifting at high speed, while riding a mecha-motorbike hybrid, pulled off elegantly with awesome ballet? They really know how to put together seemingly implausible combos and making them actually click.
Now we just need some Initial D crossover or reference or
… you get what I mean.

Ah yes, gender bender/trap genre. To a small extend, this genre is considered a guilty pleasure of mine mainly because of the hilarity of the mindscrew. Damn, the premise for such series is wrong on many levels but that’s what made them so funny.
I guess this one of those shows where you have to switch off your brain to enjoy. And yeah, nonsensical fun. This series reminds me of Mai-Otome/Hime. Somehow.
Oh well, Sunrise. No surprise there. This series is as Sunrise as Sunrise can get, with their trademark right to the end. Had fun watching this one, though.
