Casting aside all those cynicism, speculations and troll theories about KyoAni and all, blatantly ignoring all those fans’ blabber and rage, kicking to the curb all those wait for season 2 and being contended with reading (and re-reading) the novels, I finally got round to watching – and making a post—on the rest of the 4-panel adapted mini web series Haruhi-chan and Nyoro-n-chan.
And how was it? Let’s start with Nyoro-n-chan. It was pointless, really. Though it was funny to hear the “nyoro-n~” sound, I think simply reading the 4-panel comic will suffice. I mean, well, there really isn’t much with the comic anyway. Haruhi-chan, on the other hand, I’ve got to admit that it was pretty entertaining. By the way, I’m also reading the comic of Haruhi-chan as well – currently still only at vol1 though. The series isn’t exactly side-splitting funny, but it does have its chuckles here and there; several lol-worthy scenes such as:
1. Nagato turning from nerd to neet.
eroge Visual Novel is one brilliant Win there. She sure has gotten larger roles here. And damn, I want to get the Chibi-Nagato version of Paradise Lost.
2. Knife nut Asakura-tan being tsundere.
3. Haruhi herself.
(What’s with the Konata voice? Yeah, same VA but still…)
Overall, not bad, pretty fun stuff there. Well, I won’t consider it a “series” so I doubt I’ll be doing serious reviewing on it; it’s more like omake.
