[Higashi no Eden] Random Nitpicking

Weeks ago, I was taking snapshots of the OP to make an Eden banner, when I realized that despite the effort to actually have accurate English being spoken on the series… they have forgotten to do some spell check!

Being influenced by the internet has one very positive(?) thing: I seem to have developed sharper and more observant eyes ... ... nothing compared to those crazy otaku of course

Case in point: it appears that they’ve misspelled ‘remorse’.

Well, initially, I thought it was uhm ‘foreign spelling’ or old spelling… or something (you get what I mean) so I thought perhaps it wasn’t really a mistake. A few days ago however, I happened to come across Eden’s article on TvTropes (it’s like, y’know, the most cool thing on teh interweb right now dude!) and this same issue was brought out. Well, naturally, as with sources on the internet, reliability is an ambiguity sometimes, but yeah…

P.S. That phrase is actually quoted from the play Julius Caesar! The factor of awesomeness has just escalated exponentially.

  1. I spotted the mistake almost immediately when I first watched Eden of the East. I was informed that it is an old spelling, but I doubt it, it is just a mistake they never rectified.
